Unimore’s Department of Life Sciences held the awards ceremony for the first edition of the “Carlo Saetti – Opocrin S.p.A.” Degree Awards, which grants three degree prizes worth 3,000 euros each to the best theses of students from Unimore’s Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology programs.
“The Degree Awards program not only represent a concrete help for the future recruits of our territory, but they are also a tangible sign of recognition for those who, like my father Carlo Saetti – for years CEO of Opocrin – and, before him, my grandfather Pietro Bianchini founder of Opocrin, believed in the importance of scientific research up to the production of life-saving products.
They stand as a means to transmit to new generations the importance of commitment, passion and excellence, values that our family has embodied with dedication and generosity.”
Opocrin CEO and Vice President Dr. Federico Saetti
